We are seeking a Bilingual Mandarin Administrative Assistant for a Global Manufacturing company in Irvine, CA!
This individual will play a key role in supporting with administrative functions, office management, and HR operations.
Schedule: Mon-Fri from 9:00am - 6:00pm (full-time)
Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Reports To: HR Manager and HR Director
Duties:
* Counsels all company employees regarding specific departmental programs and services.
* Manage all employee benefits/ employee programs.
* Submit payroll and time keeping reports.
* Recruit direct hire employees/ temporary employees.
* Manage all safety and training programs.
* Manage team building and company events.
* Meets with and assists employees in completing relevant forms.
* Answers questions pertinent to specific departmental function.
* Reviews forms, policies, and makes necessary revisions, as appropriate.
* Ensures that required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Processes documents necessary for the implementation of various programs and maintains such records as necessary.
* Makes recommendations for records automation and other processes relating to departmental procedures.
* Interacts with vendors, carriers and/or other company departments to facilitate processing and/or resolve operational and servicing problems.
* Researches information, compiles statistics, and gathers data as necessary.
* Assists with special reports and projects as requested.
* Maintains departmental records and files.
* Advises employees, prospective employees or retirees on eligibility for programs or services.
* Provides information regarding related policies according to guidelines and established procedures.
* Oversees processing and record keeping functions.
* Performs administrative duties associated with scheduling and coordinating meetings and planning events. Arranges with vendors for services, prepares agendas, gathers and organizes supporting information, and oversees production and distribution of related materials.
